Gel-X nails are a type of nail extension made from soft gel, full-coverage tips that are adhered to your natural nails with a gel adhesive and then cured under a UV/LED lamp.

Poly Gel nails are a type of nail enhancement that combines some of the qualities of acrylic and gel. Poly Gel is a thick, putty-like nail enhancement product that is shaped onto the natural nail or an extension form and then cured under a UV/LED lamp to harden.

Builder gel is a thicker, strengthening gel used to build structure and add strength to the natural nail. Unlike regular gel polish, which is mainly for color, builder gel can create an apex and reinforce the nail so it is less likely to bend or break.

Level 1 is generally minimal, clean, and relatively quick. The designs use basic techniques and don’t require intricate hand painting, sculpting, or lots of tiny details.

A nail fill is a maintenance service performed when your nail enhancement has grown out from the natural nail. Instead of completely removing the existing enhancement, the grown-out area near the cuticle is filled in with fresh product to restore the nail’s structure and appearance.

Nail removal is the professional process of safely removing an existing nail enhancement—such as Gel-X, acrylic, builder gel, or Poly Gel—while protecting the natural nail underneath. The removal method depends on the product. Soak-off products are generally broken down with acetone after the bulk is reduced, while hard gel and other file-off products are carefully filed down rather than soaked.

Gel polish is applied to the natural nail in thin layers and cured under an LED/UV lamp between each layer. Perfect for adding a solid color or simple finish without adding length or significant structure to the natural nail.

Cuticle work would include pushing back the cuticles, take a flame drill bit to clean up the dead skin build up, and nipping away any extra dead skin

Hard gel is a strong, durable gel enhancement that is applied over the natural nail or used to create extensions. It is cured under a UV/LED lamp and creates a rigid, glossy finish.
